Palm Springs gala draws glamourous celebrities-Diane Lane, Richard Gere & others
Topnotch celebrities dazzled at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs attending the 24 th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
The gala awarded the honorees some of them being Helen Mirren, Helen Hunt, Naomi Watts, Richard Gere, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper and other worthy stars, with distinctive category awards.
Helen Mirren came in with her husband Taylor Hackford, attired in a red evening gown and had a kind of royal glow about her (she has played royal roles for that matter and maybe some mannerisms stuck to her) and “The Sessions” actress Helen Hunt’s black evening dress emphasized her athletic figure and well worked out arms. In fact she looked fitter than ever. “The Impossible” actress Naomi Watts appeared evermore gorgeous in a shiny blue dress and went for very little make up which suited the outfit.
Richerd Gere and Diane Lane who know each other well, spiced up the entry posing playfully with Richard looking as charming as he always does and Diane looking ravishing in a mauve dress with her silky smooth hair left open to fall over her shoulders. “Lincoln” actress Sally Field who was awarded with the lifetime achievement award, looked agile in a black dress with a fringe hairstyle matching it.
What a terrific way to start the year for all the honorees with Helen Mirren a bit ahead in the race already having received a dose of New Year honor, at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
