Rihanna And Chris Brown Are Back Together As A Couple – “I wanted him to know what it felt like to lose me,” Says The ‘Diamond’ Singer

After months of speculation, Rihanna has finally revealed that she is back with former rapper (violent) boyfriend, Chris Brown and they both are infact a couple.

“Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake,” the 24-year-old singer said. “He made a mistake, and he’s paid his dues.” Rihanna was assaulted by the then boyfriend Chris Brown during a pre-grammy dinner function which had led to the serious breakup between the duo.

Rihanna’s interview,in the February 14th issue of Rolling Stone, answers months of speculation about the pair’s reconciliation. Over the past few months risqué tweets and paparazzi photographs suggested they were back together. “When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world,” Rihanna admitted. ” I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that.”

According to the police report about the events of 8 February 2009, the couple argued in a car after Rihanna discovered Brown had received a text from an ex-girlfriend. Brown then assaulted the Umbrella singer by bashing her face against the dashboard and not letting her out of the car. It’s fair to say it was pretty horrific! Police were called when a witness heard her screams.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she told. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.” Is Rihanna making a mistake by getting back together with Chris Brown? Time will tell.

Speaking of the assault Rihanna said: “It’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”

She claims to be ready to walk out on him again if he displays any violent behaviour towards her. “He doesn’t have the luxury of fu**ing up again,” she said. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

The reports of the couple’s reconciliation come just days after Brown was investigated by police over an alleged assault in a West Hollywood car park.
