Heidi Klum & Ashley Greene are the epitome of elegance at the New York Gala starting Fall Fashion Week (PHOTOS)

Celebrities flocked to Cipriani Wall Street in New York to extend their support to amfar (American Foundation for AIDS Research) New York Gala. The 2013 Fall Fashion Week commenced at the same event a part of the proceeds of which went to amfar.

Attending the event were some of the sultriest stars of the entertainment industry.

Influential German-American supermodel Heidi Klum who inaugurated the fall fashion week among others, appeared with fashion designer Michael Kors holding hands clad in a long flowing, fishtail dress with a plunging neckline and flat ironed hair.

Twilight star Ashley Greene came in wearing a long white dress that showed off signs of hours spent at the gym as she smiled posing for the cameras. Sarah Jessica Parker is always well cocooned against the cold be it a day taking her kids to school or an event as this and not deviating from her comfort she wrapped a white warm coat over a rich phoenix red dress.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was the talk of the event as she reportedly arrived without an invitation, whoops! Wearing, towering heels with an ill fitting feathery gown Lindsay arrived at the event with her producer friend Mohammed Al Turki.
