Salma Hayek stands up for women’s rights presenting AVON communications awards (PHOTOS)

Bandidas actress Salma Hayek isn’t all about beauty but the woman’s got some integrity as well that we got to see a glimpse of at the 2nd AVON communications awards: Speaking Out About Violence Against Women in New York City, where she also happens to be the AVON foundation ambassador.

46 year old Salma appeared dressed in all black with her hair neatly tied back and a little pendant acting as the only piece of accessory. Her high cheek bones seemed emphasized as she put on a beaming smile walking in at the prestigious event.

Here’s a woman who can look well in just about anything and with even the most minimal of make ups and almost no accessories. Why not she’s Salma Hayek after all, it’s not everywhere or everyday that you get to see a woman as beautiful as her.
